Alison Hammond is now a well-known British TV personality. She first became famous after appearing on Big Brother in 2002, though she had been on TV for some time before Big Brother!

Some people might not know it, but Alison, from Birmingham, started working in the media at an early age as a founder member of the Central Junior Television Workshop, for regional (Central) TV.  She was in Boon, Chalk face, Locksmith, and three series of the BAFTA award-winning Palace Hill.

As any other Big Brother addict, my most memorable moment of Alison in the BB house was jumping on the picnic table and breaking it.

I laughed so hard, and even the thought of it makes me chuckle now.  I think it was the look on her face after rather than the act itself.  The 'stop dead in your tracks' moment we've all experienced at some stage, where you just freeze and hope time will backtrack if you don't move an inch. 

Alison is now a Mum to a gorgeous little boy, and a presenter on various TV Programmes, including This Morning and Loose Women.  She also took part in Celebrity Fit Club, lost loads of weight and won!

Since having her son in 2005, Alison has become an Ambassador for BabyGROE (Green, Recycled, Organic and Ethical).
