Not in the slightest bit good for you but very tasty!

Ingredients

  • 100g/4oz Margarine
  • 1tbsp Golden Syrup
  • 100g/4oz Sugar
  • 50g/2oz Oats
  • 50g/2oz Self raising flour
  • 75g/3oz cornflakes (crushed)

 

Method

  1. Melt margarine and syrup gently
  2. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients together, then pour in the margarine mixture and mix well
  3. Spread evenly in a greased tin and press down firmly
  4. Bake 190 deg C/375 deg F/Gas 5 for 20 mins
  5. Cool slightly, then cut into squares
