A very quick and easy steamed sponge pudding! Serves 4 but I usually halve for 2 and make individual puddings.

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 2pint greased basin
  • 4oz Self raising flour
  • 4oz Margarine
  • 4oz Caster Sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 4 tbsp jam or syrup

 

Method

  1. Cream sugar and margarine together
  2. Add the egg then fold in the flour with the milk
  3. Place syrup/jam in the bottom of the basin
  4. Place mixture on top and cook in the microwave on high for 4 -5 mins
  5. Eat :)
