So, here we are..2007 and im still trying to pack up the tree and remove the chocolate from under the kids beds. There has been no sign of 'new year spirit' here..just the usual arguments about wearing you new football bbots to school and how long is acceptable for a 7 year old to be out playing. I'm assuming all mums go through a week or two of deep depression after new year when they realise they arent moving house, getting a new man or having a fabulous body makeover. Just doing the dishes and redecorating after the in-laws dissed the spare room!

Is there any wonder divorce rates are up ? Or that january is THE month for new applcations to the divorce courts. If i had a man to divorce im sure it would be now !

Thats another thing, why is it ok to be single all year but when you turn up to the company party or the local new year celebrations on your own you are instantly a strange and obscure being who has become invisable to most people? Who decides on that then? is there a code for married women that allows them to ignore me?

I suppose i needed to get at least one rant in before valentines day...oh god..valentines day...arrggghhhh!
